Today (April 2nd, 2009), the KDE Community released KDE 4.2.2. It is immediately available to download. KDE 4.2.2 which isn’t so different of KDE 4.2.1 released a few weeks ago. In fact, KDE 4.2.2 is a re-write of 4.2.1 focused on to fix bugs, improve code and to add new translations in the code seen by the KDE users.

If you use Mandriva, you’ll notice that KDE 4.2.2 “Cano” is already in Mandriva Cooker. KDE 4.2.2 source code is available here.

Last week the KDE Development Group released the bug fixed KDE 4.2.1 version of KDE, one of the most widely known Linux/Unix desktop managers. As previously said, this version focuses on bug fixing, but many others changes were made.
